Position is Key

April 2, 2015 Jennifer Thomson

Sometimes having short little levers is nice...other times, not so much - for example, when you have to build yourself a second platform out of a 150 lbs worth of plates so you can unrack for bench press! Here's why I go to all that trouble: Position is key...for all movements - if you're not in the right starting position, it can be very difficult to stabilize and move through a full range of motion accurately and efficiently. Today's message, focus on your positioning and movement from start to finish not just for your bench press, but for all of your movements; make every rep count. ‪#‎benchpress‬‪#‎practicemakespermanent‬ ‪#‎benchday‬ ‪#‎moreweightonthefloorthanonthebar‬‪#‎ntcfit‬ ‪#‎ntctrainer‬
